It is a super busy week so I tried to find recipe’s that have simple ingredients & are easy to prepare.

-Crispy Black Bean Tacoshttp://jessieheaviland.blogspot.com/2011/02/crispy-black-bean-tacos-with-cabbage.htmland Baked Brown Spanish Rice – http://www.melskitchencafe.com/2010/11/baked-brown-spanish-rice.html with added red pepper & cilantro

Run Down:  I could see how people would like these tacos but we didn’t love them.  Well, I should say I didn’t love them and Kaleb despised them.  I really didn’t like the rice so I am still on a hunt for a spanish rice recipe.

-Chicken Shwarmahttp://budgetbytes.blogspot.com/2011/06/chicken-shawarma-798-recipe-200-each.html & baked fries

Run Down:  These were AMAZING! Kaleb and I both gobbled them up and felt like we were eating at the best Greek restaurant.  I marinated the meet for 8 hours and I will try to do it overnight next time.  We used TJ homemade tortillas for the bread and it worked fine but really yummy fresh pita or naan would be better.

-Chilli Dogs & Watermelon – The plan is to toast hot dog buns and use turkey hot dogs topped with TJ’s Turkey chilli, cheese, chopped white onion and mustard.  Kaleb was super excited when he heard about the plan. :)

Run Down: This was super easy and I was surprised how much we liked them.
