I know I’m a little late but I still wanted to post my favorite meals I’ve made in 2011. I am so glad I started this blog! It has helped me to keep up w/ my meal planning and I’m able to look back so easily on everything I have made.
So here it is…my top 10:
Mandarin Chicken Pasta Salad http://idahofergusonfamily.blogspot.com/2010/07/revisiting-mandarin-chicken-pasta-salad.html –This is one of those meals that makes you want to lick the plate clean. I love the savory and sweet flavors and its pretty healthy.
Pasta w/Sausage and Veggies – http://fortheloveofcooking-recipes.blogspot.com/2010/09/linguine-with-turkey-italian-sausage.html -This was sooooooooooo good! Simple but so flavorful.
Chicken Enchilada Pasta (Community Group Meal)
–http://www.melskitchencafe.com/2009/10/chicken-enchilada-pasta.html –Comfort food! The sauce was so yummy.
Peach Caprese Panini –http://paninihappy.com/peach-caprese-panini/ -To start, I have to admit that Kaleb didn’t like this at all, so this might not be for everyone. On the other hand, I LOVED it. I think its genius and want one right now.
Ministrone Soup w/Sausage and Squash- http://www.closetcooking.com/2008/01/ministrone-soup-with-sausage-and-squash.html -This soup was unlike any soup I have made before but it now is our favorite. The fresh herbs, sausage and squash make this soup so yummy!
Cream Cheese Chicken Vegetable Soup-http://www.melskitchencafe.com/2010/10/cream-cheese-chicken-and-vegetable-soup.html – I could not stop raving about this soup! I have always thought cream cheese should be added in almost anything but had not tried it in soup. Well, cream cheese rocks in soup.
Turkey Dip Sandwiches- http://bakedbree.com/slow-cooker-turkey-dip-sandwiches – YUM! I have always loved sandwiches and felt like I have pretty much tried them all. I have never had a Turkey Dip though, and loved it! I think I even loved it more than the traditional French dip.
Creamy Chicken Taquitos- http://jessieheaviland.blogspot.com/2010/07/creamy-chicken-taquitos.html -this has not only become a family favorite but my go to meal for when company comes over. I usually try to double or triple the filling so I can freeze some for quick future meals.
Starbuck’s Pumpkin Scones-http://www.recipegirl.com/2011/10/27/starbucks-pumpkin-scones/ -I love the idea of scones but am usually disappointed by them. Not these! These scones are perfect. Light but dense, not too dry, full of flavor and begs to be eaten when your baby is taking a nap so you can thoroughly enjoy them.
Pumpkin Cinnamon Roll Pancakes-http://www.recipegirl.com/2011/09/22/pumpkin-cinnamon-roll-pancakes/ -These are the pancakes that made my husband love me more than he already had. Seriously, Kaleb crazy loves these and loves that I make them for him. I also love them. They are the best pancakes ever! They are a little more complicated than most but worth it.
